Return to Christmas - Pageants, One More Outreach, One More Mountain

Hello to all again almost at the end of 2003.

Well we are baked out and worn out and peopled out at this point. I don't think that even when I had five children was I so worn out at Christmas.

We started at the end of November with US Thanksgiving and finished on Christmas night and in between sorted and packed gift bags, did three outreaches, cooked for two big meals feeding up to 70 people at each and then just the general work around the ranch. Helping with the kids, mowing grass, fixing bicycles, working on the radio and antennas, keeping the camper clean and just coping with life in the desert.

Beth has an infestation of ants about once a week and that must be very frustrating.

These are just the things that Larry and I have helped with. The missionaries do much more with Dan trying to get windows and doors on the house and still no sink or water or counters in the kitchen but there is now a stove and fridge in the permanent kitchen. Praise God

The mission work still goes on with Bible Studies and Video's each night in different villages and two church services on Sunday and staff meetings and discussions on Saturday afternoons

As I have said so many time "The Harvest is ripe but the workers are few"

We thank God that He has sent us here to be a small help in the small things for it does not have to be the big things you do for Him. As Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 And the King will tell them "I assure you when you do it for one of the least of these my brothers you are doing it for me". We challange you where you are to do something for someone else in the name of Jesus or even step out of your comfort zone and try a mission trip. We guarantee you it will change your life!!!!!
