Return to Castles in the Sand - Birthdays - Mission trip to Mesa Colorada

Hola friends

Shirley has caught the local bug making its rounds here so is unable to write to you this week. The bug usually lasts a couple of days, so she should be in fine shape by the end of the week.

This Sunday went by without too many problems with the vechicles. Saturday, Dan's van went to the shop, Jorge's bus had a small engine fire and joined it at the shop and the green van just seems to stop running on a whim, so the white Canadian truck was pressed into service, along with Pablo W's truck to be used to take the people from Jusibampo to the church in Osobampo. The Mercedes driven by Miguel O went to Piedres Verdes and La Higuera, while Jorge's bus, fresh from the garage went to Mocuzari and Las Casitas. The green van driven by Pablo S as well as Maria's van and Beth in the Stearns' van did the local run from the ranch. All returned without incident, may God be praised for that. Satan sure likes to hit our vechicles for the Sunday night services.

Just another quick note to let you know that we now have a map of the area and places mentioned in our mission pages on the web site, along with a schedule of services for an average week here at the Ranch. There are some villages that do their own Christian videos during the week as well. The distances can be deceiving on the map, for example it takes 20 to 30 minutes to get from the ranch to Mocuzari; but, because of road conditions, takes at least an hour to get from there to las Minitas.

Until next time

May you all be a blessing to the lord and He will surely bless you

Serving Him in Sonora, Mexico

Larry and Shirley
