AND THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!!!!!!!

Well folks it is definitely time to come home if you don't like bugs and other creatures. The iguana are out. There is a tarantella just at the edge of the carpet outside our door that cleans out it's hole every night and throws the dirt on the carpet. Paul S turned over some bricks this morning to put in his bathroom and found a scorpion, a black widow and a large bee that could not fly. He put them all in a bottle and the scorpion ate the black widow. So summer is here. It is also hitting in the high 90's some days and although I don't mind it as much as last year I am being told that in a couple of weeks 100 will be the normal temperature and I don't think I will function too well in that.

But away from the negative side. Our mission trip this year has been a great eye opener for us (in more ways than one) and we pray a blessing to God and the people that we are here to help. It certainly has been a blessing to us. I would be lying if I said that every day is wonderful. It's not and a few days are downright miserable as my health has not been great this year, but God has certainly proved his words in Isaiah 40:29 " He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak " and also His promise to Paul in 2 Cor: 12:9 " My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Many mornings I have prayed for strength for the day and he has always given me enough to do the things that I needed to do that day.

Larry was able yesterday to do the plumbing to get the bathtub ready for the final touches at the Stearns which will be a great blessing as they have never had a real bathroom and between now and Tuesday he needs to project his map on the wall at the church so that it can be traced and Rochelle can pretty it up, put more advanced typing tutors on some of the machines for the students who have finished the basic and the ones who will finish it while we are away this summer. He also has, of course, to repack the camper and have it and the truck cleaned before we leave on Wednesday morning.

My classes are finished but I still have to evaluate each student and leave instruction for their practice sessions while we are away and hopefully there will be quite a few ready to start more advanced work when we come back in the fall. I hope to start another class of girls at that time too.

Today is Saturday so we will have our final (for us) staff pot luck and meeting.

Our radio station applications seem to be going well and Mike is getting ready to start to build a tower for the mountain here as soon as it comes through and then we have to apply for Temoris which is in another state and God's word will go out to more and more people. We certainly will be needing to bring with us more second hand FM radios next year as each one gives a family the word. Please pray for this important ministry.

As anxious as we are to get home we are sad to be leaving as we see so much that needs to be accomplished and the workers are few. Why not think of even a short term mission here next year. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated and believe me YOU will be the one who will be blessed.

This is our last letter and we are going to close down our computer on Tuesday so this is your last chance to email us so lets have some comments before then Huh!!!!!!
