Return to Mexico Mission Season Wind Down..Canada Mission Season About to Begin..
Friday, March 4th, 2005
To our Family and Friends who so kindly take time to follow our adventures in Mexico,
As you can see by the captions on Larry's pictures this will be our last update on this year's mission trip. Our internet will be turned off next Thursday so we will not have to pay for an extra month so we can have it for a couple of days and we plan to leave Alamos on the morning of March 14th heading for Nova Scotia.
We have two or three stops on the way to drop off a few things to Paul and Beth in TN and a couple of visits with family and friends in Texas and MA. These will be welcome breaks pretty well evenly spaced through our two week or so trip.
We really do hope that by the time we hit the Northern US and Canada that the snow will be gone as it is not a comfortable feeling pulling a 5th wheel on snowy roads and we do have some mountains to cross. Please pray for travel mercies
I do not really need to add anything to Larry's comments. I think they and the pictures show pretty well how we and your gifts have been used by God in Mexico this year. We will be glad to get home and have some time to rest and relax but you are all welcome at any time for coffee and a chat and it will be kind of nice to talk in English for a change as we have had a lot of Spanish immersion this year and it can be trying on old brains to try and learn a new language.
God willing we will see you at the end of March or early April.
May God Bless you all
Serving Him in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico
Larry and Shirley Stephens
