The Presentation
This is Pastor Candelario Bernardo Gomez of Chiapas presenting Shirley with a souvenier of Chiapas. We helped to buy a truck for him, an answer to two years of prayer. He came to Alamos by bus, a three day trip, to drive the truck back to Chiapas. He arranged his whole trip before we had even found a truck to buy; this was how certain he was that God would have a truck for him.

Larry and the donated clothing..
This is the load on our truck that we prepared for pastor Bernard to take back to Chiapas. There were shoes, all sorts of clothing, gift bags for children, quilts, baby items and a tarp to cover it all.

Luis with the Donated Items....
This is Pastor Lorenzo's son, Luis, helping to pack the donated truck with the items seen on our truck earlier. The donated truck needed some minor repairs, which took until 7 PM to complete, so we had to prepare it for the trip after that. The return trip to Chiapas was to start at 4 AM the next morning. Pastor Lorenzo is making the return trip with Pastor Bernardo to Chiapas. We were told that it is much safer for two to travel than for one. They will drive for approximately three days and then Pastor Lorenzo will rest and visit for one day and then return to Alamos on the bus, which is another three day trip.

Els Tres Amigos....
This is a photo of Pastor Bernardo, and the two Loremzos in front of the truck. We seem to pretty well block the truck, but it is there.

The Whole Gang....
This is Pastor Lorenzo and Lupita, with their daughter, Stefie, Larry and Shirley and Pastor Bernardo as we were about to leave to allow them to get some sleep for the next few days ahead.

The Truck....
This is the truck as we first saw it. Sorry Jim, but all we could find was a Chevy. It is an 84 but is in good shape and was the best we saw within our budget. I will post some of Pastor Bernard's missions on a future update. He gave us some photos of his work in Chiapas and his family there.
